个人简介：
尹铮，男，公开学院2011级英语本科2班学生。2013年6月毕业，取得自学考试英语本科学历，获得学士学位，2015年进入广东外语外贸大学英文学院攻读硕士学位。
在校期间获奖情况：
2011年11月，学院“卡西欧杯”英语语音语调大赛一等奖及最佳语音语调奖；
2011年12月，学院第六届英语综合技能大赛个人总分第一名及团体总分二等奖；
2012年5月，学院英语演讲比赛一等奖；
2012年10月，参加首届全国成人高等教育英语演讲比赛，获得二等奖。

学习心得：
To begin with, I’d like to thank the Open College for giving me this opportunity to share my experiences on learning English. As to my fellow students: I wish you all good luck with your studies. May you enjoy the 2 (or 4) years you’ll be spending at this college.
Here are 4 simple rules which I found quite effective in studying English. I’m not sure whether they’re going to work on you, but I’d be really glad if they are indeed of help.
Firstly, the Open College is a place where students gather from all over China to learn English，making it much easier to find a partner. So we should make good use of the opportunity and practice English, especially Oral English as much as possible. English is a practical skill to be used, not a theory to be studied.
Secondly, if you have a question, don't hesitate to ask your teacher or fellow students. Most of them are more than happy to help you out. Don't be shy, and don't be afraid to make mistakes, for we are all here to learn. What's the point of learning if we never even make mistakes anymore?
Thirdly, make English your hobby. That's not as hard as it seems. If you like playing video games, try going into the settings menu and switch the language to English, or uninstall your language patch. If you like reading, read some stories in English. If you like watching movies, download something in English. Do whatever you want to and like to, just in English. If you associate English with what you already like, you might come to like English as well.
Last but not least, use English AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE in your daily life. The more you use it, the more you’ll feel comfortable with it.
